Despite the current challenges the NHS is an amazing resource where truly amazing things happen every day. Here’s another University Hospital Southampton 💙 first: day-case surgery for brain tumours. Who’d have imagined 75 years ago you could have a brain tumour removed in the morning and be home for tea?!
