Good exchange w/ the Assistant Deputy Minister for Safety & Security, Transport Canada. We discussed Canada’s Coasting Trade Act, the recent amendment of EU-CAN BASA, priorities for the 14th Air Navigation Conference, & cooperation on aviation security.

Productive meeting w/ the Deputy Minister of Transport of Canada. We discussed support for Ukraine, G7 cooperation, the Green Alliance, decarbonisation efforts, BASA updates, & ICAO initiatives. Looking forward to our continued partnership!

Had an inspiring visit to Airbus facilities in Mirabel. Discussed Airbus’ commitment to SAF development in South America & the EU’s ACT SAF programme. Also emphasised the importance of gender diversity in aviation for driving innovation & welcomed the femmes@Airbus initiative.
