Today, May 5th, is the #NationalDayofAwarenessforMissingandMurderedIndigenousWomen, Girls and Two Spirited people. It is also known as Red Dress Day. It is a day for all Canadians to draw attention to the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and girls.

We recognize the month of June as Pride Month in solidarity with 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff and allies. Our schools and board office will fly the Pride flag in June as part of the Board’s ongoing commitment to equity and as a symbol of inclusion for our 2SLGBTQ+ community.
