The beauty of the eUTxO model is that it allows the creation of truly decentralized systems by composing small self-contained pieces into something bigger and more complex. Ergo

The Future of Finance. Be your own bank Run your own OTC desk Manage your lending, rates and leverage Run your own tradebots Create your own options Collectively manage DAO's and partnerships Bridge cross chain We are building an open source suite of tools. Ergo

We are moving into an era where there will be those who hold keys to digital bearer assets and those who own nothing but gain fiat-based exposure. Interesting times ahead.

There are a lot of "new" PoW chains that come out with no real innovation other than spec mining. GPU sidechains built around Ergo could be interesting, considering the current state of the mining. Add LITHOS Protocol support, and this could be disruptive. Ergo

Today in Mining: $ZIL announces plans to leave miners in favor of PoS. $ERG LITHOS Protocol announces plans to disrupt current mining pool structures in favor of decentralization, censorship resistance, and trustlessness.

Ƶ̶ephii El Pepe Ergo Hopefully, one day, we see an entire ecosystem of locally hosted off-chain bots that can deploy multiple application/function-specific packages. Work in progress.

The real question is, how many Solana users here are running a validator or a full node without a subsidy from the foundation? Where are the real network peers? This should be a clear assumption. Hello, my name is : A participant defending my bags

Ergo is one of the only communities openly discussing market making, censorship resistance, open block production, and education around risks and trust assumptions. Be an active peer vs trust the team, bro. This is what decentralization should be. Ergo

A hackathon to increase the functionality, documentation, and tutorials around running locally hosted tradebots would be interesting. There has been a narrative around being your own bank in crypto, but a lot of functionality is still needed to have a full suite. Ergo

Ergo Some will never get there... but actual self-sovereign banks with a small barrier to entry and an easy learning curve are a goal. I have always imagined having a full node with user-friendly extensions offering a variety of tooling to be an ideal outcome for local operators.

Local transparent assumptions are always ideal. That is mainly lost in marketing narratives these days. The shift towards Trust Us Bro is on the rise. Need to trend back towards local power. Local hosting, empowering network peers. Ergo

Anyway, a shoutout to all the devs in the crypto space who build things I can host locally. Offering liveness beyond central project-hosted infrastructure is the way. It always has been and always will be. Ergo
