I led my colleagues in the Nigeria House of Representatives Committee on Digital and Electronic Banking to Lagos to attend a two-day training workshop on e-banking and Fintech Programmes. The training workshop was organised by Interswitch.

This medical outreach is necessitated by the high rate of untimely deaths resulting from inadequate healthcare and poor access to medical facilities. So, I want to encourage all indigenes and residents of Ikono-ini to take full advantage of this exercise.

I led members of the House Committee on Digital and Electronic Banking on a 3-day training and retreat in Kigali, Rwanda. The program, sponsored by Moniepoint Microfinance Bank, aims to enhance our capacity and equip us to make informed legislative decisions.

Today’s roundtable meeting between members of the Nigeria-United States Parliamentary Friendship Group, the Ambassador of the United States, and the American Business Council in Nigeria was a productive dialogue that reinforces the long-standing partnership between our nations.

I attended a 3-day retreat with the National Assembly Joint Committee on Electoral Matters and INEC Nigeria in collaboration with Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) and DAI Nigeria to analyze all inputs received from stakeholders towards the amendment of the Electoral Act.

In two years, you have exemplified governance rooted in humility, compassion and inclusion across political and ethnic lines, fostering an era of peace. May the coming years bring even greater transformation for generations to come. Congratulations, Your Excellency.

Last night, I was honoured to attend the state banquet marking His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno’s second year in office. It was a moment of reflection and celebration of purposeful leadership, people-centered governance, and steady progress in Akwa Ibom State.

After a careful review of the potential gains and long-term benefits for my constituency, I officially joined the APC Nigeria today. My move is driven by a deep commitment to serve my people better.
