Over the years, I learned, and I had to remind myself, that you can't force people to heal and shouldn't offer help to those who haven't asked for it. It's hard because you want them to get better or help them, but they have to make the decision whether they need it or not.

Dear child abuse advocates, we are grateful for the child’s care package, present, or new backpack-but are you standing up to your MDT when a child is not defended or speaking out when you see a child being put back in an abusive situation? Grateful for support but need safety.

#WorldSuicidePreventionDay has always been hard. It's harder now since I lost another friend to suicide a few years ago. I was close to doing it myself a year or so ago and was taken financially advantageous by Megan Stoner because she pretended to be helping me. #MentalHealth

#WorldSuicidePreventionDay hit differently when you were close to doing it yourself. I had a letter written out and even an obituary. So that if I did it, people, especially those closest to me, would know why I did it so they could have closure. #MentalHealth

Today, I’m reminded that some people won't ask for help until they are drowning. As much as I want to step in, I need to wait for them to reach out. #LessonLearned #MentalHealth
