Aside from the AI visualisation of what it’s like to work in our office👇 it has been brilliant having Mark Wilberforce with us during his NIHR School for Social Care Research leadership award. We will miss him but promised Yvonne Birks we would let him return to SPRUYork 😊HSCWRU

It's been great having Mark Wilberforce with us at HSCWRU for the past two months. A fantastic social care researcher with a lot to learn from. Although I'm not sure the impression we've given Mark was equally as impressive...(as suggested by his AI depiction of his time with us)

Absolutely agree. Nihilism is the default setting for health professionals and carers pick up on this. It makes things *worse* not better - for everyone - to buy into this narrative.

I don't think this justifies the film. It may be how family can see dementia-and it is so awful to be in that place-but we need to resist the narrative. If we only see people as partially alive, we will only treat them as partially human. Says me. (Well, and Tom Kitwood).
