We were thrilled to host the Tiger Transfers and Commuters group for their Barbershop Talk in our Pocket Park! They're a great group at Jackson State U. that fosters community for transfer students and students who commute. They'll be having future events, so keep an eye out!

It's Poem in Your Pocket Day with the Academy of American Poets! We're sharing Margaret Walker's "The Struggle Staggers Us" as our #PocketPoem. This work gives us plenty to think about! - What's your fav Walker poem? - What does "the struggle? mean?" - What metaphors stand out?
