Cheaters never win! A continously flow of cheaters received violation tickets for using the Bus lane at the Alex Fraser Bridge in City of Delta We have received numerous complaints of Bus Lane violations throughout the region and in response will be stepping up enforcement.

September 23 to 29, 2024 is National Rail Safety Week. @TransitPolice, in conjunction with CPKS Police Service, conducted enforcement & education around railway safety on the West Coast Express. This effort is to raise public awareness about safety around the railways.

Before the Sun is out, we are out! We have received numberous complaints about unauthorized use of bus lanes. Members are at Highway 99, City of Surrey conducting bus lane enforcement. These lanes are for busses ONLY, so save yourself $109 and stay in the appropriate lane.

During the Holiday season, @TransitPolice helped 🎅 work on his Naughty or Nice list. Working with West Vancouver Police Department North Vancouver RCMP Burnaby RCMP Surrey Police Service more than 20 people were added to the Naughty List for driving while impaired.

On this beautiful sunny day, our officer caught a driver at 105km in a 50km zone while doing bus lane enforcement. This is a residential zone with a park that is visited by 100's of kids and families. This dangerous driver received a $368 fine & a 7-day vehicle impoundment.

Around midnight, this individual drove from Clarke to almost Commercial on E. Hastings. Took out trolley lines along the way due to overheight load at 5.18m (max height is 4.15m). Still on scene waiting for crane to lift load and place on lower flat deck.
