So pleased that our phylogeny of Australiaâs primary rodent radiation, with my phd student Pete Smissen, is at last published in Mol Phyl Evol. Speciation occurred both within and among biomes with arid biome a major source of diversification. sciencedirect.com/science/articlâŠ

Earlier this year, Museums Victoria palaeontologists collected an extraordinary #fossil on Victoriaâs Surf Coast Shire. Today we are sharing this #discovery with the world Melbourne Museum @zieglertn Ben Francischelli Dr David Hocking

A lovely surprise in the mail - our new paper on #threatened #rodent identification in hard copy! Huge congratulations to PABurns_ for her excellent PhD paper on #NewHollandMouse & #SmokyMouse ! Kevin C Rowe Ben Phillips Zoos Victoria Museums Victoria @unimelb #FightingExtinction

So excited! Whole exome analysis of convergence in shrew rats of Sulawesi and the Philippines. What proteins are under selection in the weirdest of rats? Thank you nature for the replication. Way to go Dr Emily Roycroft x.com/emily_roycroftâŠ

This international womenâs day #IWD2018 #WomensDay, Dr Emily Roycroft, mother & Australian PhD student Museums Victoria with an honours degree from New Zealand, is looking for selection in 20,000 proteins from rats of Indonesia & the Philippines. Real international woman of science
