Congratulations to Matt Demme who yesterday was named Skyline Pitcher of the Week! Against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn last Saturday, Matt threw a complete game shut out allowing just 3 hits and 0 walks while striking out 5. Over 7 innings, Matt never let a runner past second base.

Some early offensive fireworks in both games along with great pitching allowed us to take care of business against Yeshiva yesterday! Next game: Doubleheader tomorrow @ St. Joseph’s - LI. First pitch scheduled for 11:00am. See you there!

On a night filled with game changing plays and incredible performances by our boys, we were able to sweep Farmingdale State and move into a 5-way, first place tie atop the Skyline standings!

A senior day split against Mount Saint Mary’s allows us to compete for a top 2 playoff seed on the last day of the regular season!!! Matt Demme saved his best for last, tossing a complete game gem while giving up just one run on 4 hits and striking out 5!

Congratulations to Owen Weber who earlier this week was named 2nd Team All-Region by the ABCA and 3rd team All-Region by D3baseball.com! Owen slashed .338/.388/.567 with a .955 OPS for us this season. He totaled 53 hits, with 11 doubles, 2 triples and 7 home runs.

A huge congratulations to 2024 graduate Freddy Forgione who last night signed a professional contract with the Great Falls Voyagers of the Pioneer League. Freddy will become the first Privateer to ever play professional baseball!!!

Congratulations to our boys who received the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for the third consecutive year. To be eligible, teams must have a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2024-2025 academic year.

What a great turnout for our 2025 Maritime Baseball Alumni game! Over 30 former Privateers took the field to show us what they still had left in the tank. Although the game was fun, the stories & laughs shared were what really made the afternoon memorable. See you again in 2026!
