The MTWTU together with ITF SEAFARERS' TRUST and VGROUP continues to organize free evacuation flights to Romania (Brasov) for the families of Ukrainian seafarers. During the implementation of the project, we already sent 17 buses with more than 400 people from Odesa.

American trade unions responded to the MTWTU appeal and sent a letter to Secretary Antony Blinken urging immediate coordination between the efforts of the US State Department and EU countries to lift the travel restrictions for Ukrainian seafarers as soon as possible.

❗️ ⚡️ The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced changes to the rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine by citizens of Ukraine and determined the procedure for the departure of seafarers who are going to work on sea vessels and inland navigation vessels.
