We reached our Fun Run Goal!!!I cannot WAIT to win tomorrow's admin tricycle race! Eventhough Mr. Jones worked hard during his morning practice session, I know I've got this one in the bag!

We have truly welcomed the holiday season! Solving holiday math mysteries, OneNote Education world holiday breakout boxes with Emily Brown, cookie decorating, ornament crafts and FaceTiming with Santa have brought nothing but smiles to all our Baker Elementary faces. ❤🖤🐻

Happy New Year! There was no better way to start this semester than with EdCamp sessions provided by some of our teacher leaders. I was completely engulfed in the great conversations and loved the plethora of resources shared. Thank you 𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕚𝕖 𝕆'ℕ𝕖𝕒𝕝 for organizing this event!

We were very honored to host State Superintendent Richard Woods Representative, Ed Setzler; and Cobb County Schools Superintendent, Chris Ragsdale, this morning. They were such an inspiration to our students and staff. We truly thank them for all they do for our schools and community.

Welcome back! From Nuts and Bolts to Minute to Win It games and a wonderful lunch provided by 1885 Bar and Grill. We started the year off right and are ready to go #bakernextlevel. Sending a huge thank you to 1885, Acworth Business Association and Freedom Church. We are so grateful for you!

I had lots of laughs with this Baker Bear this morning. She offered to read to me and used such great intonation. The text really came to life! #davpilkey would have been SO proud...I most certainly was! #bakernextlevel

The sweetest thing happened yesterday with this Baker Bear. She got so excited because we were both wearing a dark color and gold. She gasped and said "we're twins!" I told her "we most certainly are!" You never know who you will impact- and vice versa.🐻

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness. Science of Reading. Narratives using Write Score. The @Team_AcworthES and @McCallPrincipal Instructional Walks with other elementary school APs in our feeder pattern were awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the rigorous, engaging instruction!

Whether it was reading using whisper phones, decoding CVC words, making inferences or writing summaries and citing text evidence every Baker Bears got exactly what he or she needed today during WIN Block. Such a wonderful sight to see!

I think it's safe to say that we have THE best office costumes EVER!#encanto #Disney

What a day! We're celebrating #nationaldonutday and exceeding our Fun Run goal! So much fun and excitement...and the day is only halfway over!

What a busy but amazing week! From providing teachers RTI support and monthly work session, to math PL, campus beautification and celebrating our veterans, we definitely accomplished a lot! Stay tuned for more from the #bakerfamily
