Corrections workers have an essential role in our public safety system. We are grateful for their commitment to service.   Pleased to meet with local OPSEU chapters in Hamilton and Niagara to discuss our shared goals: the needs of their membership and safety of our communities.

Dynamic environments, great leadership and a chance to make a difference. Careers in public safety are meaningful and worthwhile. Glad to speak with NRPS and Niagara Parks Police Service about the next generation of public safety pros who will soon join their ranks.

#Autotheft is a serious problem that demands a complex solution. Grateful to IBC Ontario and cabinet colleagues for working together to disrupt crime rings and lock thieves up.   Under the leadership of Doug Ford, it’s all hands on deck to build a stronger and safer Ontario.

Great to be at St. Catharines Fire Services meeting some of the 180 firefighters who keep #StCatharines safe.   Special thanks to Chief David Upper & Andrea DeJong for their service to their community.   Public safety is a top priority. We will have your backs morning, noon & night.

Spoke to the entrepreneurs of tomorrow as part of the Deck Business Hub in #YorkCentre, and joined by fellow guest speaker and visionary Michael Serruya on the importance of building a safe, prosperous and inclusive Ontario for everyone.

This week at the 48th multi-faith rally at #YorkCentre we mourn the tragic loss of 6 hostages that were recently found in Gaza. We will never lose hope on those hostages remaining in captivity. Nothing is more important than standing together as a community. #BringThemHomeNow

The Toronto Police Service - Youth in Policing initiative teaches youth the importance of teamwork, leadership and community.   I was there at their summer kick off when their journey began and was glad to return for a chance to recognize their achievement and wish them well in the upcoming school year.

Today I visited the Peel Regional Police Training Centre and spoke to the newest recruits as they begin their journey as police officers to keep communities safe. Congratulations to class 2404, we will always have your backs.
