Cretin-Derham Hall senior and Minnesota Men's Golf commit Joe Honsa cards a 1-under 71 to take clubhouse lead Legends Golf Club during 2025 USGA Open Local Qualifying. Current Gopher Jack Wetzel sits one back at even par with professional Kyle Scanlon and Eden Prairie senior Ryan Cronin.

2023 Minnesota Golf Association Junior Boys' POY and defending Class AAA individual champion, Torger Ohe, tallies seven birdies and a pair of bogeys to take the clubhouse lead with a 5-under 67 at 2025 USGA Open Qualifying Legends Golf Club.

Former Minnesota Men's Golf Riley Johnson fires a 6-under 66, helped by an albatross at the par-5 fourth hole at Legends Golf Club from 217 yards with a 7-iron. Johnson takes clubhouse lead by one at USGA Open Local Qualifying.
