Yesterday evening, President Caron alongside MNC staff met with International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) Director-General Kathryne Bomberger. We look forward to future collaborations to ensure our Métis Survivors and their Families receive the justice they deserve.

President Caron met with Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc to discuss Métis priorities for upcoming Budget 2024, including funding to support emergency programs tailored to the needs of the GMs and their citizens.

Working together to ensure that Métis Governments, citizens, and communities have the supports they need to thrive. With the Federal Budget coming on April 16th, we will continue to work with our Governing Members to champion Métis priorities at the national level.

The Spring Equinox is the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, signalling the return of longer days & warmer weather ahead. For many Metis families, spring is a time for hunting, tapping birch trees for sap or maple trees for syrup, & planning their upcoming gardens.
