In our new paper in FINEL authors.elsevier.com/a/1bmP0,3rlei2… we studied what happens when you drop a steel weight on a concrete beam. Led by Joosef Leppänen at Chalmers Chalmers. We used our damage plasticity model #CDPM2 for the 3D FE analyses. Glasgow Computational Engineering Centre James Watt School of Engineering, Uni. of Glasgow Materials & Manufacturing Research Group

A 3D-printed, lightweight material developed at James Watt School of Engineering, Uni. of Glasgow is stronger than similar forms of aluminium. It could lead to safer, lighter, and more durable bodies for cars and the aerospace industry. Read more here 👉 gla.ac.uk/news/headline_…
