Hot take from someone living the #adjuncthustle: I don't need "resources" or articles or webinars or lists. That stuff is broad and rarely applies to creative classes. What I need is specific dialogue (initiated by someone w a FT salary) about OUR students and ethical evaluation.

More #adjuncthustle dilemma: my job is now 2 functions: maintaining semblance of status quo up to schools' standards, + crafting discrete pedagogy for students facing rly hard obstacles (~1/3.) No time to take care of myself, or plan how to make $ beyond 5/1. I'm exhausted.

THEATRE PEOPLE GUESSING GAME. What will be the name of the slightly divisive (and mediocrely-written) play that you'll hate to watch as it becomes the "safe" coronavirus title for LORT theatres. My guess: A New Abnormal.

Overheard on the sidewalk, a passerby to us all in line outside Trader Joe’s: “I understand what a mask is, but I’ve never seen so many people wearing ‘em! What did you call it? Coronavirus? Is that some kind of disease or something?”

I want a website that matchmakes #playwrights who can unscramble each other's stream-of-consciousness drivel into coherent monologues. Friends, I just wrote one and it contains no less than 8 semicolons, this is worse than my hair rn and I haven't seen Leroy since early January.

I’d like a breakdown and analysis of the books on Patti LuPone and Nathan Lane’s shelves and why isn’t Jake Gyllenhaal’s room nicer, does he need somewhere to stay?

I “attended” Hamlet-Mobile ‘s unforgettable immersive play “Red Flags”. I could not give “Emma” a curtain call, so I need to give her a shoutout this way. In this play, I had a virtual “date” with Emma, and was… instagram.com/p/CAd25a1DFmd/…
