The boys took a trip in a time machine to find out how chocolate was discovered. Some interesting hypothesise and a special capsule filled with clues for an ancient chocolate recipe. We created our recipes and hope to discover more about the Mayan tradition of chocolate worship!

We have been learning all about MLK and civil rights activists. We took notes, went on a hunt for his dreams and discussed if these had come true, or if in 2020 we still needed to make change to end racism. Our changes are represented in our artwork #BlackHistoryMonthUK #bekind

It’s 9.03 on the last day of term and the boys are desperate to finish their letters to kei. We have been writing persuasive letters to our head teacher. I feel very privileged to teach such hard working individuals ⭐️🌈 #achieve

In spirit of their topic on WW2 the boys are fundraising for Poppyscotland by selling masks. These have been handmade by a military wife and the elderly. Message me for details on purchase and delivery. £4 per mask with all proceeds going to Poppyscotland

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we shall remember them.

The boys enjoyed learning all about remembrance this morning. What different poppies symbolise and why we celebrate Remembrance Day. We had our own remembrance ceremony with a two minutes silence and the laying of the wreath.
