For a start widely different issues they deal with, patient populations, service specifications, nursing scopes of practice (etc).

I believe the RCN have put out a statement suggesting this is not their position. Yet there are more conversations & clarifications needed, as I have become skeptical and cynical over the years. If it were the RCN position, I would leave the union immediately. #MHDeservesBetter

This book is absolutely solid even though its over 40 years old. Anyone that works in healthcare and in particular, trying their hand at workforce planning, should read it. Its the application of Dreyfus and Dreyfus seminal work about work.
