Last day of Summer Running Camp included a long run at Illinois Beach State Park, a dip in Lake Michigan, a quick bite a Portillo’s, and more great memories made with teammates and friends! Great last day before the season officially begins!

Great first week of practice with so many new runners! We ended the week with some get-to-know-you partner sit-ups and push-ups and then some power hills in the rain on the home course! (Plus a visit from Ellie, of course!) A fun and strong start to the season!

Despite some serious heat this week, this group stayed tough & strong with morning workouts, partner speed work on the track, & hills! We also had some fun with This or That Thursday—Endurance vs Speed—and Friday Funday with our Big/Little Sister Reveals & interviews!

First Runner of the Week for the season—Freshman Ashley Salazar! Ashley is new to XC but has been improving every day! She works hard, stays positive, never complains, and pushes herself to new limits every day! Proud of you, Ashley!
