Fastenal Industrial & Construction Supplies in Canton, MS, invited MHP Corporal Kelvin Jones and CTED Enforcement Officer Rickey Hutchins to discuss the importance of safety measures and proper commercial vehicle maintenance on highways.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating two separate incidents involving 18-wheelers on I-20 Eastbound at 15 & 18-mile marker The first incident in Warren County and resulted in injuries. The second incident occurred in Hinds County, but did not result in any injuries.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating an overturned 18-wheeler on MS-3 near Satartia in Yazoo County. The driver was transported to UMMC with unknown injuries. Both lanes is currently closed while emergency crews are working to clear the roadway.
