Many years ago, my first job out of uni was for the Member for Lindsay, Jackie Kelly. I was 21. This is when I first met PM Howard & at the old age of 22 moved out of home to Canberra to work for the Prime Minister. Happy 86th Birthday Mr Howard! Thank you for your conviction. 🇦🇺

The PM promised Australians many times all we would need is a Medicare card to see the GP. We all know bulk billing is drying up, & increasingly Australians are having to take out their credit card when they see a doctor. Today, I asked the Health Minister about this.

Two days running I’ve asked the Prime Minister why Aussies need BOTH a Medicare card and a credit card just to see a GP. Two days running, he’s served up waffle. Shame waffle isn’t bulk billed.
