Another S1 totally smashing it this month 🙌 on top of this, it was an absolute joy to speak to all of my S1 parents/carers on Thursday night about their children’s amazing attitude and great progress 🥰

Found a quiet half hour this afternoon to finish my first read of 2023. Took me a while to get in to it but what an incredible novel, some of the writing is just 😱 I pretty much sobbed my way through the second half 😭 Now to choose something a bit lighter from my TBR pile… 🤔

Feeling a bit of FOMO this evening seeing the brilliant photos from my colleagues Musselburgh Grammar School S6 trip to Dalguise. Fab weekend though, finished this really interesting novel 📚 as seems to be the way just now it took a while to get in to but the ending took my breath away 🥺

Loved reading this 🥰 a very honest and timely reflection of why I’m a teacher and why I love what I do. I’m end of term tired but finishing on a high; proper goose bump moments with my highers as things finally start to ‘click’, & fab celebrations with the best colleagues today.

What a week our SCQF Partnership Ambassadors have had. They showed so much enthusiasm during their Musselburgh Grammar School Inset Day presentation, and got some brilliant feedback from staff. Feel very proud 😊 can’t wait to get started with the next phase of planning/curriculum review 💪

I love being part of this, so many opportunities for our learners 🤩 so excited to see where it takes us next 🙌
