We are happy to share that today, Rick Slayman, our first patient to ever receive a genetically edited pig kidney transplant, has been discharged from the hospital. He is recovering well and will continue to recuperate at home with his family.

The 1st patient with eGenesis genetically modified CRISPR pig kidney was released from Mass General Surgery
yesterday. This brings hope to the 550,000 Americans requiring dialysis and the +100,000 on a waiting list to receive a kidney transplant.
