Big news to wake up to with single word gradings binned immediately. One thing though,I can’t really see the point in the interim reports this year where the 4 areas will still be graded. Perhaps it would have been better to reset this year (apart from safeguarding issues).

If your school offers German, you have access to a language with so much in common with English, relatively easy pronunciation & familiar words, so many practical applications, a gateway to Swedish, Dutch & even Icelandic. German is a language that genuinely rewards your efforts.
