Students loved working in mixed grade level teams (K-5) to design and build sailboats using household materials! The final test was to see whether their boats would float AND sail. All teams were successful. We celebrated their hard work with popsicles! #IL3 #MCMS

These courageous students completed the fluency challenge today in front of their entire class! The challenge is to read our weekly poem aloud with both accuracy and expression… in a minute or less! 🚨#IL3 #MCMS

Rock painting class was a blast! Afterwards, we spread joy by hiding our painted rocks with kind messages throughout the MCMS and the MLCHS campus. If you find one, then we hope it makes you smile! #IL3 #MCMS Ms. Spry

We ended summer session with a student designed carnival! 8 teams of students created and built ALL of the carnival games... Our amazing FRYSC, Ms. Spry, even made popcorn and cotton candy for the occasion. It was a blast! Happy Summer! #IL3 #MCMS
