Today we met with Julie Morgan MS & colleagues, along with BASW Cymru 🏴, our Social Work students and Cardiff University to discuss our campaign for parity of funding for social work postgrads. Welsh Government have committed to supporting our cause #equality #watchthisspace
Tonight we’ll be promoting our campaign at the BASW Cymru 🏴 ‘Valuing Social Care, Valuing People’ Hustings ahead of the Senedd election. We look forward to sharing our passion for #equality for #socialworkpostgrads, generating support to make #socialwork an accessible career
Our plea for parity of funding for #socialwork postgrad students at the BASW Cymru 🏴 hustings, Angela Burns MBE from Welsh Conservatives 🏴 states “there should be a complete parity of esteem between health and social care under our recruit, retain and retrain policy”
