The Wasp Amphibious Ready Group-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit team completed Composite Training Unit Exercise, May 12, 2024. Upon completion of COMPTUEX, the 24th MEU was designated as Special Operations Capable (SOC).

The mighty amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) has arrived for #FleetWeekMiami ! 🥳

Fleet Week is a tremendous opportunity for the U.S. sea services to show the people of South Florida the character of our uniformed men and women and the capabilities of our ships.

F/A-18 Super Hornets are marking the arrival of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan as part of #FleetWeekMiami ! ⚓️🌴

These aircraft can conduct air superiority, reconnaissance, aerial refueling, close air support, air defense suppression and day/night precision strikes. 💪

Marines conducted the loading exercise to maintain a high operational capability in the Indo-Pacific region.

U.S. Marines with the 2nd Distribution Support Battalion conduct air delivery training in Surf City, North Carolina.

The training was conducted to evaluate the Marines' combat effectiveness and enhance air delivery skills.
