It’s easy to feel worried about the state of media right now. We’re faced with daily news of layoffs, closures and corporate buyouts. Revered institutions and beloved favourites all reeling from the mercurial state of journalism in an unsteady, ever-changing world.

On the one hand they lobbied for legislation to enforce cancon rules on their competition.

On the other hand they don’t believe in the cause themselves and want to be exempt from those regulations.
