February’s #PrairieSeedOfTheMonth is Agastache foeniculum aka Anise hyssop! This drought-resistant bloom attracts a variety of pollinators, from #bumblebees to #monarchs. When crushed, the leaves smell of mint & licorice. Blue & violet hues make it a homegardener‘s favorite 🌱💜

Recent photo from a Lyon Cty #MAPPumn site. With turkey & 25+ deer visiting in the winter months, we hope our #habitat #installations attract just as many #pollinators & natural enemies in the summer months. Thank you landowners for keeping watch over these #restoration efforts!

Plant some #pollinator habitat. Talk to your legislators. Get involved in a citizen science program. Be an advocate in your city or community for native habitat — what it looks like, why it’s needed. Our panelists share ideas for what *anyone* can do. #SecondMondays
