Between November 15, 2024, and January 1, 2025, Waterloo Regional Police held Festive R.I.D.E. (Reducing Impaired Driving Everywhere) programs throughout Region of Waterloo. Officers checked 8,157 vehicles and administered 76 roadside breath samples with an approved screening

Last night our Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted a RIDE check in Waterloo. We stopped approximately 250 vehicles, and as a result we had: - 6 ASD's under 50 - 1 three day suspension - A charge for improper muffler and completed a CMV inspection which resulted in two charges
