Wow! Thank you to the OSU community for coming together to celebrate the work of Dr. Tessa Hill and her co-authored book, “At Every Depth: Our Growing Knowledge of the Changing Oceans.” Thanks to everybody who attended, this was a fantastic night for all!

OSU has a lot of great resources for students to get involved in research and field experience, one of which is URSA Engage! It pairs first- and second-year undergraduate students or first-year transfer students with a mentor of their choice to complete a research project.

The Ocean11 marine club just wrapped up their first beach cleanup of the year, graciously supported by the @athleticbrewing Two for the Trails grant program! We have increasing access to transportation for the club and got more supplies (like shovels!) to grow our efforts!

Check out these weekend-long, 1-credit experiential courses based at the Hatfield Marine Science Center with field trips along the coast, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful connections. The course is delivered through Ecampus except for the weekend trip at HMSC!
