Na een wereldreis (47.000 zeemijlen) van twee jaar in het kielzog van Charles Darwin (HMS Beagle) is de Rotterdamse driemaster ‘Oosterschelde’ weer thuis. Haar aankomst is niet onopgemerkt gebleven kijkende naar het begeleidende flottielje vanaf Hoek van Holland en de drukte op
