Sometimes what’s really overwhelming us isn’t too much to do or too much to process. It’s too much fear. So, today, I am asking God to help me know the difference between wise discernment and fear. One prompts me to remember God. The other prompts me to panic.

God sees things we can’t see. He knows things we don’t know. Only God knows what the good plan is and what it will take to get us there.

Our God is a God of completion. He makes promises and then He fulfills them. They may take longer than we’d like and the journey may be harder than we expected, but we can rest assured that our God will always be found faithful.

Remember, we have today. Even with all the ups and downs and unexpected situations, it’s a gift. Such a precious gift.

Every one of us has something heavy we’re carrying as we walk through our day. And remembering that others have burdens of their own will help us choose to be a little kinder to one another. Today, we can choose to let compassion rise, grace soften and love lead.

God doesn't grow tired. He doesn't get weary. And no one can fathom His understanding. What a magnificent God we serve.

In a world that promotes tearing others down to build ourselves up, we can make a difference by using our words to bless and encourage. And simply giving kind words is one of the greatest ways to make the love of Jesus known to those who so desperately need it.

Your progress doesn't have to be perfect to be powerful. And a setback doesn't mean we should give up. Grab some grace and keep going, friend. Today is a new day!

God’s ways are sometimes opposite of what we want and expect. But we can absolutely trust that His ways are best. Let’s remember to consider what God’s purposes are and align our expectations and desires around His.

There's purpose in every season — even seasons of darkness. But we must choose... will we see dark times as a womb or a tomb? Is it a birth of something new or the death of what we thought should be? Will we fix our eyes on God's goodness or give in to hopelessness and despair?

Even if we can’t see it, let’s choose to believe it. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 (NIV)

Ever feel "less than" because of your struggles? Remember... Jesus doesn't compare. Jesus doesn't exaggerate. Jesus doesn't condemn. He simply says, “I love you. Just how you are. But, I love you too much to leave you stuck. So let’s work on it together."

Prayer sends our worries and limitations straight into God's hands of limitless power, provision and protection. Cast all of your cares on Him today, sweet friend. He cares for you.

The answer to this question is crucial. If I am letting a mess define me, I will feel hopeless. If I am letting a mess refine me, I will be hopeful. God doesn’t want us to stay stuck in places of defeat. He wants us to be refined into the hope-filled women we’re meant to be.

Something to consider before reacting this week: Am I trying to prove that I’m right or improve this relationship? If caring for this person is my motivation, it will be reflected with careful words.

I often want to immediately see the good that God promises, but sometimes God’s good answer is “not yet.” There is a timing to everything. Even when we don't understand, we can trust that God is always true, trustworthy, and on time.

God is always doing more than you know, working toward a good you’ll one day rejoice in.

Searching for God is so much more faith-building than searching for answers. Let Him comfort you with His presence today. And trust the answers to come in His right way and His right time.

The peace of our souls does not have to rise and fall with unpredictable people or situations. Our feelings will shift. People do affect us. But the peace of our souls can be tethered to all that God is. We can let His Word wrap around our souls with steady assurance.

You have the exact qualities God knew this world would need … in a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a neighbor, a friend. Wherever you are and whatever you put your hands to, believe that you have good to offer this world. Because you do!
