In 2001 my church began instituting #MLKWeekend in our annual church calendar, focusing on teachings of #MLK & the tragic legacy of systemic racism. Some people left, but our church has been transformed. So grateful for this much-needed emphasis this weekend. Willow Creek CC

In my prayers this morning: 25 Israeli Jews & Palestinian Arabs meeting 4 3 days 2 discuss theological, political & cultural differences. Why? To honor the image of God in each other & to work toward the mutual flourishing of both groups. I learn so much from my global friends.
