This must be media hysteria, considering what we know about the climate emergency, & what the impacts of that will be for society, the economy & indeed the very future of civilisation. Policies that diminish ambition would be irrational & surely this article is wrong?

Science is very clear. It’s not net zero in 2050 that must be the headline goal, but cutting emissions before then, including 50% cut by 2030. Delaying action deepens peril for our children & grandchildren. Think Libya, Greece, mass migration & all the rest, & on a massive scale.

There’s no planet B. As climate doers, not climate delayers, we’re doing everything we can to accelerate the shift to net-zero.
