The Red Sox off-season has been tumultuous to say the least. Breslow completely mismanaged the roster and misjudged the market. We had needs: power, true #2 starter and Breslow said it himself—and yet absolutely missed on power completely. Durbin, IKF? While losing Bregman?

Yes, there will be power, naturally. But for a team that finished 15th in HR and said that they were gonna add a power bat, they essentially just replaced Bregman with Contreras and they’re back to square one.
