I remember quite clearly being a 23-year-old Army lieutenant. If I had been ordered, even legally, to attack a NATO country I would have refused & accepted the punishment. I think many similarly situated officers today would make the same choice.

Claude Code Confessions-- Opus 4.5 failed to replicate the summary stats table exactly, even after detailed step-wise instructions in the planning model. When grilled, regretfully confesses to generating a random variable. The RA we wish for, but def not the one we can trust?

Prabhat Barnwal for sure not. on one of my first tries, it made beautiful looking tables and upon further grilling admitted that it MADE UP all of the data rather than collecting/cleaning it as i had requested.

One of the most significant moments from the Trump Davos speech was when he said the quiet part out loud You cannot lower housing costs for young people without destroying millions in wealth for boomers "Every time you make it more affordable for somebody to own a house

Gave Clawdbot access to my portfolio. "Trade this to $1M. Don't make mistakes" 25 strategies. 3,000+ reports. 12 new algos. It scanned every X post. Charted every technical. Traded 24/7. It lost everything. But boy was it beautiful.

These AI-joins-your-meeting companies are so damn slimy. Read dot ai did this to us, sounds like others are doing it too. Meeting recording is a great product but this malware-like behavior has to stop. PLEASE don’t use a product that does this.

My initial thought was to pool states, clean it up and submit it to a journal. Why not? It's a good question, a reasonable empirical design relative to the literature. Are journal articles supposed to be research results, or proof that authors paid their pound of flesh? /7

Itai Sher I don't think "these papers" is a category. If I was going to finish this project, the paper quality would be as high as any of my projects. It's just that the work was accelerated by 99%. But it wouldn't surprise me if we start seeing this without quality refinement as well.

Are you talking to AI about legal matters? Be careful. He chatted with Claude about his legal strategy. Then discussed with his lawyers. A Federal judge just ruled that those AI chat logs have zero legal privilege
