Took some time to dive into the film of Marshall's latest commitment, Bryce Slay. Some really redeemable qualities in such a young player (touch, pace, & feel for the game). Expecting Slay to make an impact right away. Momentum growing for the Herd... marshall.rivals.com/news/film-stud…

Jalen Speer may be the biggest X-factor for Marshall Men's Basketball in 2024-25. Legit 3-level scorer, 15.5 ppg last season at FAMU. Nice display of tough shot-making especially in clutch situations. High turnover rate (21.9%) and defensive size/consistency are the biggest question marks.

I’m a big believer in Quentin Grimes and think he has the chance to be an elite role player in the NBA. Decided to make a video that highlights why he could be the steal of the offseason for Dallas. Link below:

With the first official practice in the books, I wanted to give my prediction for the Marshall Men's Basketball starting 5: Jalen Speer Jakob Gibbs Mikal Dawson Obinna Anochili-Killen Nate Martin All 5 starters would be in their final year of eligibility. It could be the oldest in the country.

It's easy to see why Mikal Dawson was named a captain for Marshall Men's Basketball. Veteran wing with a ton of experience in big time games. High energy defender with enough size and physicality to feel comfortable on any switch. Held opponents to an excellent 0.737 PPP and 34.3% FG% (Synergy).

Former Marshall head coach Doc Holliday: "I spent a lot of years here, love this place. It is a special place and I have just enjoyed getting the chance to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in three years, I'm glad to be back."

Marshall will have an entirely new backcourt next season. I took some time to dive into each player and project the role they will play for Corny and his staff this year. I even made some starting backcourt predictions. Check it out on HerdNation.com! marshall.rivals.com/news/herd-bask…
