Excellent talk by @queersurgeon regarding the nuanced topic of de-transition in gender affirming care. One takeaway: Avoid forcing patients into a new binary after surgery. Also, simplified narratives in this area make it harder for patients to receive quality care. #sexmed22

5 years went so fast. Thank you to the residents, faculty, and my wife for making the excellent journey possible. Looking forward to working hard and learning with the Temple Urology team in the coming year. And looking forward to returning to UAB Urology afterwards!
