Adored this. In a way, it’s like Woo’s ROPE. Experimental in nature. Full of his best themes. The way he uses melodrama to keep disrupting the sustained revenge high we all expect from a film like this. A film as poem. And yes, he STILL puts every action filmmaker to shame.
