An insightful and thought-provoking piece by Stephen Chaudoin! I highly recommend it to folks interested in how media coverage of human rights campaigns shapes local public opinion.

Shout out to New Faces! It's the most engaging and inviting conference I've ever attended. The cohort from last year still stays in touch and offers each other support. The professors are fantastic mentors, guiding us to navigate the field. It's a community for China scholars!👏

I want to thank APOSS for creating a warm and supportive community for junior scholars. I am especially grateful for your assistance in reaching out to my dream discussants, who have provided me with valuable feedback that I would not have received otherwise. Thank you!

I'm very grateful as part of this dynamic, insightful cohort! I'm truly enjoying the interactions with both the first cohort and the discussants who graciously dedicated their time to join our first in-person meeting. Thank you Neysun Mahboubi for bringing this amazing team together!

Countless hours spent gathering conference info in our field. Proud of our careful text data analysis. We assess the variability in conference codes and offer suggestions. Takeaway: We need more and better codes of conduct!

Biden is wrong. The ICC prosecutor did NOT equate Hamas and Israel. He charged both Israeli and Hamas officials for their own separate war crimes. Indeed, given the severity of the offenses, it would have been outrageous had he ignored one side’s crimes. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Very privileged to be part of this dynamic team to meet with American and Chinese colleagues and have wonderful discussions this week in Beijing💕!

I was delighted to engage in robust discussions on human rights and global governance in the context of US-China relations during both sessions. Sharing and listening to different perspectives are critical first steps in building trust in exchange.
