Good morning from Central Park! I would like to introduce you to my favorite heron(objectively the best heron), the Green Heron. It's feasting this gorgeous morning on fish - you can see a little snack in its beak. The best way to start the day is with a beautiful bird. 😃❤️

Green Heron *my favorite/the best heron* gobbling up numerous fish this morning in Central Park. Fun fact about this gorgeous bird is they are one of the few bird species known to use tools like a twig, leaf, or feather to capture food. A total joy watching it feed. 😍

Northern Waterthrush, the beautiful warbler that prefers to walk on the ground. While it walks it has a distinctive bobbing motion. It's such a great feeling quietly observing this bird & knowing it wasn't bothered by my presence feeding peacefully. ❤️
