April 10 is the International Day of Pink and a time to wear pink and say ‘NO’ to discrimination and bullying, especially towards 2SLGBTQQIA+ people. Tonight Government House will shine as a beacon of pink hope to those who experience bullying because of who they are.

Yoga On The Lawn will return for 2024!

Unfortunately our first Yoga on the Lawn for 2024 will not go ahead today. The heavy rain yesterday has left the grounds very wet so for everyone's safety today will have to be cancelled, but we will hope for next week to kick off the season.

This morning, Their Honours paid respects at the Lying-in-State of The Unknown Soldier.

Today we gathered as a community to honour our Unknown Soldier, and all those who served and did not come home.   He could be any one of those soldiers who went to fight for us and have no known grave. And so, by remaining anonymous, he will represent them all.

Their Honours celebrated Canada Day at Alderwood Estates, with Governor General Mary Simon. As we mark Confederation 75, we know we have seniors among us who remember that time. We celebrate by honouring those who built our province, through stories, song, and a pride of place.

After a couple of weather related delays, Yoga On The Lawn is a go for today!

Wisdom Healing Qigong On The Lawn will go ahead today.

REMINDER: While Yoga On The Lawn will go ahead today, the location will move to accomodate preparations for the Garden Party. Yoga will take place on the lawn on the north side of Government House, near the security post.
