Airport advice at 4am: The D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO coach that you ignore today might end up at a D1 program — or know someone who already is. Coaches talk. Moral of the story: Don’t “big league” coaches who take time out of their day to reach out to you. Respond.

Taunt recruited me in 2012 and gave me an opportunity to play college baseball. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his belief and support. He’s one of the best baseball minds that I’ve ever been around. Best of luck, man. Go be great. #GoLutes #GoViks
