Malcolm Canmore's Tower, located in Pittencrieff Park, is a historic site consisting of the foundations of a rubble-built, rectangular tower. It was significant as the seat of royal power after Malcolm III moved the center of government to Dunfermline in the mid-11th century.

Happy 60th birthday Forth Road Bridge, a remarkable engineering feat that has transformed the lives of people in Fife and beyond. Opened by Queen Elizabeth II on September 4, 1964, this iconic 2.5km suspension bridge was the longest outside the USA at the time.
