I’ve seen people lose proximity to power because they refused to compromise. I’ve also seen people lose integrity because they couldn’t stop chasing proximity. Balance is an art. (That’s why most just pick a side and pretend it’s principle.)

The people who say “I could never sit with them” are rarely the ones close enough to the fire to matter.

We want unity but only with people who already agree with us? That’s not unity. That’s a vibe check.

The moment you decide someone is “beyond change,” you’ve guaranteed they’ll never prove you wrong.
