Work is most rewarding when it has the potential to change, and save, lives. Today I was privileged to support ASH Wales Cymru CEO give evidence to MPs. We’ve worked so hard to get this far. Commissioning research, gathering evidence and communicating rationale. Onwards.

Today was evidence of how far we’ve come….but the job’s not yet complete. We will continue to work to secure the successful progress of this Bill and to support the thousands of people in Wales who want a Smokefree future for their kids 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

There's no doubt the Welsh NHS is doing all it can, with the resources available, to support people with cancer. But surely the news that no area of Wales has met cancer wait time targets for the last 4 years means we must take prevention more seriously with long term investment
