Sad to hear this. To this day, the only player I remember from the Little League World Series! Could do it all for Long Beach.. pitch, smash homers. Was hilarious as a kid on David Letterman too.

I remember it vividly. This may not have been a kids’ show per se, but with the Saturday morning slot it was fantastic for kids falling in love with basketball and the NBA.
